A Week of celebrations
The first week of the year is always one of my favorites, for multiple reasons, but 2017 has already been pretty sweet to me.
Zac and I kicked the week off on New Years with our first day together since he got back from Mexico. Fireworks, tacos, cards, hot tubbing & I finally earned the title of pingpong champ 2016. WOOT WOOT.
My cute girl Julia put together a birthday dinner at the beginning of the week for me & it was wonderful to catch up with so many of my close friends.
In addition, it is my baby boy’s birthday week. Jan. 3rd he turned 11 which feels crazy because I still look at him like he is a little puppy and my family all yells at me for talking to him like that. It’s similar to the annoying moment when you are watching an adult talk to a 6-year-old in the squeaky mushy voice.
Then a group of us took off for Star Valley to spend a few nights in a cabin, mornings snowmobiling, and evenings playing games. It was the perfect way to spend my 21st birthday.
Finally, when we returned from Wyoming we drove straight to Nevada for a night at the Black Jack tables. Because I needed to celebrate the perks of hitting the big two one somehow.
